We love stuffed animals and we are loving this latest addition to our stuffed animal collection. Over Christmas, Sheila took a trip to the aquarium with her granddaughters and they found themselves mesmerized by the seahorses. Apparently, seahorses swim upright by propelling themselves forward by rapidly fluttering their dorsal fin (35 times per second). They steer by using their pectoral fins behind their ears. This pattern walks you through making a sweet little seahorse stuffed animal. The best part? It has a cute little pocket with a baby seahorse! Does it get any cuter than that?
