Have you made your own quilted fabric yet? If no, this pattern is for you!
This pattern will teach you how to make a 'quilt sandwich' - which is a piece of fabric on the top, a piece of fabric on the bottom, and a piece of batting in-between the two layers of fabric. It will show you how to use painters tape to create the design lines. Once you have created the quilted fabric you will cut out the 'moon' and the 'crescent moon' to make the potholder. You can purchase double fold bias tape to cover the raw edges ... or you can make your own.... much easier to buy it!
If you make it as a gift for someone - you can add kitchen utensils to the pocket. We found these at our local dollar store
As with all our patterns it is intended for personal use only. Please do not distribute this pattern. Items made from this pattern are not to be sold. If you would like to sell any items made from this pattern, contact us for a limited use license.

Also, please note that for your tracing guides to print out correctly you need to be sure your printer is not set to “shrink to fit.” If this box is selected, unselect it. If you can’t see a box with this option then just make sure it is printing at 100%.
