The pattern has 12 appliques including: a zebra, monkey, lion, elephant, parrot, chameleon, tiger, hippo, frog, toucan, snake and a jaguar. The 'sew and flip' method of quilt construction is perfect for applique because it allows you to work on small sections at a time instead of trying to applique on the whole quilt top at once. Also, with this quilt-as-you-go pattern, when you are done with the quilt top, you are done quilting. Simply attach a backing using your desired method and cuddle up in your brand new blanket.
