Visiting National Parks and taking photographs are two of my most favorite things to do! This poster was created from a photo that I took in the winter at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I remember hiking from the North Rim to the South Rim with my father and my siblings and two of my friends in tennis shoes - we thought we were going to die. I hiked rim to rim again with my two daughters in June when it was so hot - actually 120 degrees in the shade - I will never do that again! Now I have figured out the best time to visit is in the winter. I have hiked down to Phantom Ranch and stayed overnight many times - once with each of my four foreign exchange boys - such an amazing hike through history!
