This quick and easy pattern shows you how to make the 'zig zag' quilt using parallelograms - rather than triangles so there is significantly less 'sewing'.

This quilt is designed to be 56 to 60 inches wide and 70n to 74 inches tall - depending on whether or not you add a border.

Once you understand the technique the options are endless - you can make the quilt smaller by using a smaller parallelogram . You can make the quilt larger by just adding parallelograms to the top or to the side to turn the quilt into a twin size, queen size or king size blanket.

The real fun begins when you start auditioning fabrics to be in your quilt! You can have just two fabrics or six or more fabrics - you decide.
